The Selenium engine does not automatically use Xvfb (e.g., if you want to run a Selenium browser scenario in an automated soatestcli job on Linux without a display), but it can be configured manually. Any existing browser scenarios (recorded before WebDriver support) can be configured for playback in Selenium (as described in Reconfiguring Legacy Browser Recordings to Play Back in Selenium). New browser scenarios will use Selenium by default.
